Participatory democracy lies at the heart of our organizational framework. EIT operates under the leadership of the President, guided by the esteemed Board of Directors. Through their collaborative endeavors, EIT will establish a contemporary and democratic governance system that embraces external societal contributions. This system is effectively executed by various operational entities, including the President Executive Council, the Academic Committee, the Advisory Committee, and the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee, among others.

The Yu Renrong Education Foundation is the initiator and organizer of the EIT. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting the development of private education, cultivating high-level talents in cutting-edge research and high-tech fields, and promoting education in China.

Board of Directors

The EIT Board of Directors is the authoritative decision-making body responsible for pivotal matters within the university. It comprises representatives from the local government, the University's leadership team, the Yu Renrong Education Foundation, faculty members, and distinguished individuals from diverse sectors of society. The Board's primary functions include the appointment and termination of the President and Vice President (based on the President's proposal). To protect EIT's mission, the Board conducts meticulous reviews and ratifies the University's regulations, financial projections, and audited reports. It also grants approval to the University's long-term development plans, annual work summaries, and strategic initiatives. Furthermore, the Board exercises authority over significant aspects such as human resource policies and makes consequential determinations regarding the number of departments and divisions.

The Party Committee of EIT has offically been established with the approval of the CPC. Functioning as the political core of the University, the Committee should provide political and ideological guidance, steering the University in the socialist direction, and ensuring the Party's unwavering leadership over the University's ideological endeavors.

President Executive Council

The President Executive Council serves as EIT’s executive deliberative and decision-making body, focusing on examining and managing significant matters related to education, research, and administrative affairs. It adopts a principled approach, characterized by scientifically informed decision-making, democratic processes, and adherence to legal frameworks. Diligent investigations and meticulous research underpin the rigorous examination of consequential matters, followed by the formulation of recommended proposals, which undergo a process of intra-leadership communication and harmonization to ensure unanimity. Members of the Council include the President, Executive Vice President, Vice President, Secretary General, Dean of General Affairs, and Chief Accountant. Other relevant personnel may be invited if necessary.

Academic Committee

The Academic Committee represents the highest academic body within the University, responsible for decision-making, deliberation, assessment, and advisory functions related to all academic activities.

The Academic Committee promotes a healthy research culture, respects academic freedom and equality, stimulates innovation, fosters talent development, enhances academic standards, and ensures the active participation of faculty, researchers, and students, thus driving the scientific progress of the University. The Academic Committee comprises elected professors from the Faculty Committee, the President, and members appointed by the President.

Faculty Committee

The Faculty Committee is an autonomous organization for professors to develop academic communications and participate in university management. Its membership comprises professors, associate professors, and assistant professors from EIT. The Faculty Committee is responsible for electing members to the Academic Committee and selecting representatives to participate on the Board of Trustees. The decision-making process and elections are conducted through a voting system that ensures each person has an equal vote. Additionally, the sub-committees within departments and affiliated colleges strictly adhere to the regulations set forth by the Faculty Committee.

International Advisory Committee

The International Advisory Committee mainly consists of prestigious experts in the field of international higher education. They are responsible for proposing opinions and suggestions on pivotal domains crucial to the advancement of the University.
