Qingchen Shen, Assistant Professor at Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo. He received his doctoral degree (Materials Science and Engineering) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020 (Advisor: Prof. Tao Deng). He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge (2021-2024) and the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (2024-2025) (Advisor: Prof. Silvia Vignolini). • Bioinspired Thermal-Functional Materials and Devices: Stretchable thermal management materials and devices for wearable electronics; passive radiative cooling materials based on cellulose for thermal management in buildings and personal applications.

• Bioinspired Optical Materials: Sustainable optical materials based on the self-assembly of cellulose nanocrystals.

• Bioinspired Stretchable Devices: Stretchable devices utilizing gallium-based liquid metals.
