Background Information: 

Dr. Shubin Fu is an assistant professor at Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo. He received his B.S. from Sichuan University and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. His thesis advisor is Prof. Yalchin Efendiev. Before he come to EIAS, he was a postdoc at The Chinese University of Hong Kong working with Prof Eric Chung and a visiting assistant professor at UW-Madison working with Prof Nan Chen. He has published more than 20 papers in journals such as SIAM Multiscale Modeling & Simulation, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Journal of Computational Physics, Communications in Computational Physics, Geophysical Journal International , Water Resources Research, Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems.
