  • Electron microscopy is a foundational technology for observing and understanding the micro-world. The Imaging Center leverages these tools to provide comprehensive analytical testing and advanced characterization solutions, with a strategic focus on new energy and life science materials. Our goal is to become a nationally leading and internationally recognized center of excellence in these fields.

  •

The Imaging Center occupies a building area of approximately 2,600 square meters and has acquired instrumentation worth about 61 million RMB. Major equipment includes spherical aberration-corrected transmission electron microscope (TEM), a dual-beam focused ion beam (FIB) system, an ultra-high resolution cold field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM), a multifunctional in-situ atomic force microscope (AFM), advanced electron detection cameras, and in-situ analysis systems, among others.

  •

The center plans to procure additional advanced equipment, including an environmental aberration-corrected TEM, 200kV and 120kV TEMs, a plasma-focused ion beam (PFIB) system, a low-vacuum SEM, an X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS), an ion mill, a cryo-ultramicrotome, a confocal laser scanning microscope, and a multimodal structured illumination super-resolution microscope. These acquisitions will support research in new energy, biomedicine, and electronic information—particularly in solid-state batteries, lithium batteries, and organelle imaging—enabling exploration of dynamic structural evolution in materials from the macro to the micro scale.
