  • EIT's Residential Colleges are foundational to our educational model, designed to foster communication and intellectual growth among students and faculty from all academic disciplines.

    The first Residential College at EIT is under the distinguished leadership of Dean, Academician Zhangxing Chen, and Associate Dean, Associate Professor Tianhao Wu.

  • Dean
    Dr. Chen is a Chair Professor and renowned scientist acclaimed for pioneering work in computational mathematics, petroleum engineering, and hydrogen production. He is a Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of several other prestigious academies, including The Royal Society of Canada and the European Academy of Sciences.
  • Associate Dean
    A national-level talent and associate professor with a distinguished academic background from Peking University, Dr. Wu earned dual bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Economics and a Ph.D. in Science. He further honed his expertise through postdoctoral research at the Reservoir Engineering Research Institute (RERI) and Rice University.
